The Glass House
Modern, Minimalist Design.
The client had a clear design intent for this home - use of concrete, glass, natural materials, and light. This dictated a footprint that is narrow and linear, curtain-wall glass, and selected commercial-grade finishes on the exterior for a clean aesthetic appeal. Interior space is expansive, limited black and white color palette, architectural concrete feature wall, hard surfaces, and luxury cabinets with integrated appliances for simplistic presentation.

The home is located on beautiful farm land, hidden behind trees. 30 acres of land was raised 3 meters to maximize the view and the home stands proud on the hill. Black framed curtain wall windows, 10' by 10' oversized doors, and multiple balconies with floating glass systems capture views. Build included 4-season tiled pool, pool house, detached garage with studio and underground tunnel to house, and landscape construction.

The home is well thought out and functional for a young family. Bedroom suites on NE side, expansive family room and kitchen in the center, attached garage, and tunnel to detached garage and studio.
