Remodeling or building a new home is a big financial, emotional and time investment. To ensure a good working relationship built upon open communication and trust we have compiled a list of questions we think you should ask about before we get started.
What does my schedule look like? This includes start and end dates, critical decision dates, and finishing selection dates. By knowing this upfront we can ensure deadlines are met and lead times are sufficient to finish the project on time
Who will be working at my home? It is important to know that your project manager and site supervisor are regularly onsite. They are responsible for supervising employees and sub-trades, locking your home, and overall site safety and quality control.
Do you provide daily clean-up and how do you control dust in the existing home?
How will you communicate with me? Email, phone, weekly meetings? Can I have your cell number for emergencies after hours?
How do you handle change orders? Signed change orders, email etc.
What kind of documentation will I receive when the project is done?
We want this time to be an exciting and enjoyable time. By having these open and honest conversations at the beginning we can start by building a great working relationship!
