Slotegraaf Construction is a full-service custom homebuilder and renovations company, passionate about quality homes and accountability to our client, and looking for a Purchaser to join our always growing team. Our clients are homeowners who appreciate well built homes – exceptional experience, great design, and maintaining time schedules are important to them. We are located in Cambridge, Ontario.
Are we a good fit?
Your new role will be purchasing for both our residential company and growing commercial construction company. You will need to be adaptable to a fast paced work environment, responsive, detail oriented and thorough. You will be involved in purchasing of construction input supplies, inventory, large and small asset purchasing, and related vendor coordination and pricing.
What do you need in your toolbox to succeed?
To succeed in this role you must have minimum 5 years of experience as a purchaser and inventory control, and within a construction project based company is an asset. Post Secondary degree in Purchasing, Business Admin or Equivalent. You will need strong verbal and written communication skills, an investigative approach to your work, adaptable attitude, and good negotiation skills. Advanced MS office Excel skills. Knowledge of construction is an asset.
